I started applying for jobs in October. The tallies come to:
Job applications sent: 152+
Rejection letters: 5
Phone interviews: 11
In person interview: 1 (5.5 hours long though)
Job offers: 3 (might have been 4 but I turned down the opportunity to go to Maine)
Chance to turn down a job: PRICELESS! (Sorry had to throw that in)
Did I do too much? I don't think so. In the end, I have a job that sounds exactly like what I was looking for. We'll see if it lives upto my expectations. One good thing has already come of it. Jeff asked for a transfer out to Annapolis and they gave him one ... along with a promotion.
I start May 8th, he starts May 9th. I am alternatingly excited and nervous and terrified of this big move. Any words of advice?

Congratulations Sylvie! You worked so hard on your job search and it really paid off in the end. And congratulations to Jeff too. I can't wait to visit you guys so Mr. and Mrs. Moneybags can take me out to dinner! :)
Moneybags? I had a sudden image of both me and Jeff as really old farts with money under our mattress.
